Self EsteemLow self-esteem and or confidence is one of the biggest obstacles to living your best life. It limits your opportunities in your personal and professional life. Here are a few tips which if practiced will help you to raise your self-esteem and increase your potential:

  • Only compare yourself to other people in a positive way - if you admire someone that’s great so identify exactly what you admire and work on mirroring that.
  • Never put yourself down – the more you do this, the more other people will believe it because the unconscious mind can’t tell the difference between what is real and what is false, it believes what you tell it!
  • Mix with positive people who support you – if you feel low the last thing you need is to be with people who will reinforce your views. Positive people will make you feel better by their words and deeds and that is what your unconscious will pick up on.
  • Own your good points – learn to value your good points, write them down and put them somewhere you can see them.
  • Buy a book on raising your self esteem – it will contain information and exercises aimed at raising your self esteem and the more you practice the more you will get out of it.
